The RAM OIL 280 MP industrial vacuum cleaner, thanks to its 280-liter tank capacity, finds wide use in cleaning machining center tanks due to the speed at which it cleans and replenishes lubricating oils in the tanks and the suction of chips and metal parts. Suction is generated by 3 single-phase motors operated by a single switch, which starts them sequentially, avoiding current peaks. There is a quick-release metal basket in the tank to separate the solid and liquid parts and the 150-micron filter that provides more effective filtration on metal parts. The electric float switch inserted inside the container interrupts the air flow when the maximum capacity is reached and activates the liquid discharge pump, which then allows continuous suction, filtration and discharge of the liquid. The vacuum cleaner comes standard with the oil accessory kit perfect for vacuuming on machining centers.
SUCTION UNIT
The vacuum is generated by 3 by-pass motors. Each motor is managed by an independent switch, permitting the operator to control the intake performance. The motors are located in a sturdy casing, with an insulating sponge to maintain a low noise level.
INLET
The vacuumed material enters the machine through a flanged intake nozzle located on top of the filtering grid's lid inside which it's separated from any solid particles eventually present. The filtered liquid is collected inside the large tank, ready for use again.
DISCHARGE SYSTEM
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a submerged pump in order to empty the tank. The pump's level sensor automatically interrupts intake upon reaching maximum capacity. In the same way, the level sensor instructs the machine to interrupt discharge operations once minimum level is reached.
FILTERING ELEMENT
The collected liquid goes through a PPL filter with a 150µ efficiency. Thanks to it it's possible to separate even the smallest solid particles, making the filtered liquid suitable for reuse. The filter can be washed and reused easily. An disposable TNT filter (efficiency 100µ).
